Outlines to be covered

1. Proper drawing attitude and life philosophy (1 to 2 hours)
2. Drawing test - Before (only four drawings 1/2 hours)
3. Explain 33 principles of good graphics in detail (2 to 3 h hours
4. Pencil technique (1/2 hour)
5. Color pencil technique (1 hour)
6. Pastel and watercolor pencil techniques (1/2 hour - Optional)
7. Learn to draw people, trees, cars, furniture and details (1/2 hour)
8. Perspective sketch in one point (2 hour)
9. Perspective sketch in two point with charts (1 hour)
10. Marker technique (1 hours)
11. Drawing test - After (only four drawings 1/2 to 1 hour)
12. Miscellaneous subjects (1-2 hours)
* One and two week workshop in California and Kansas will be introduced and art supplies will be for sale at discounted price on site during the break period.
 
        Please be advised that only 8 to 12 drawings will be executed during the workshop. So do not expect to draw a lot, but after the experience you will be able to understand the proper drawing attitude, life philosophy, principles of good graphics. In addition, you will be able to do perspective sketches in one point  and two point with the chart and to render them with pencil, color pencil, and marker techniques.   You will be leaving the workshop with increased self confidence and your life and career will be enriched with fun, excitement and less stress.  Looking forward to seeing you in the workshop.
 

Art Materials
All participants need to bring the following art supplies:

    1. #2 and 6B pencils
    2. A fine felt-tip pen and a Sharpie pen
    3. Set of assorted colored pencils (strongly suggest Prismacolor Pencil brand include Puppy Red, Orange, Canary Yellow, Olive Green, Spring Green, True Blue, Lilac, White and Black).
    4. Assorted colored markers at least 24 colors (must include colorless blender, light yellow, light green, medium green, light brown, medium brown, light blue, light orange, light pink, light gray and light violet. Strongly suggest Chartpak Marker brand*).
    5. More than 30 sheets of 8 1/2" by 11" white Xerox paper
    6. A roll of 12" long white or yellow tracing paper
    7. A straight edge 12" length or shorter

    During the workshop, Mike Lin's two popular books, perspective charts and sets of 47 or 9 Chartpak markers will be for sale at great discounted prices.
