BeLoose Member Spotlight - Abdul Hakim Kussim Part 1

Abdul Hakim Kussim -  Landscape Architect and Illustrator

We are honored to put a spotlight on the work of Malaysian landscape designer and talented illustrator Abdul Hakim Kussim. Abdul's drawings are have a gestural quality that highlights design thinking and the constant iterative design process.

Hj Hakim works with a variety of media ranging from pencil, ink, colored pencil, watercolor and markers and utilizes the overlay/trace process method which is fast and effective as design ideas are being generated. This is a first in a series of Abdul's work and his process.(Photo below: Abdul Hakim Kussim)

Thank you so much Mr. Mike Lin for the constructive comments,I'll try to do the marker technique for plan rendering more in the future.

Great work, I only offer one suggestion, you may try to render the landscape plan with marker technique, which will take much less time (1/4 of color pencil) and produce more visual effect with transparency feel (more watercolor look).  But overall, very articular work.  Keep up.
